From an evolutionary point of view, why is height still the most important factor of male attractiveness?
Shouldn't actually intelligence be more important now? I can understand that height mattered in stone age where it was associated with physical strength and success as a hunter. But with the rise of civilization and in particular with the industrial revolution, physical strength is becoming less and less important. Machines are doing the work for us and success is defined financially.
What does psychology/biology say about this? Will evolution in the future make women favor intelligence instead of height?
