>>13227997I never said you should avoid masks or that they were not worth using. I said that you can't solely rely on masks and that they are not THAT effective.
>MAGA argumentsI can see why you would say this, because I said
>the reality is that it still isn't that much of an effect.and
>CDC is fucking shit at "educating" the masses And vented about normies not knowing how to use a mask.

But I'm not MAGA and these things are true in my opinion; they were even said as I recall by the CDC, which I criticize for not being wrong, but for creating an ineffective message that does not reiterate what we already know and makes it look inconsistent all because of some stereotype the made up about Americans. In the early days, this is what they told us; that the masks were not that effective. This was when they were trying to sell us on not having to wear them. Then they backed off of that and started acting like the masks were super effective. They didn't do that by saying the things that were incorrect, but by portraying the information in a different way. Is that lying? I don't fucking know. Its stupid and I don't know how many other anons are even on the same page with me on this front, but the CDC isn't the only group handling the pandemic.
Yes, I am critical of certain things the CDC said and did. I am not however critical of the entire global medical community.
Masks are not VERY effective, but they still have some effectiveness. Social distancing, avoiding small poorly ventilated areas, washing your hands, avoiding indoor areas with a lot of people are more important, but masks and face shields are still worth it.
Notice I mention face shields. Face shields are also ineffective in the face of airborne transmission, but they are fine for covid. You can see how N95 masks are a fucking meme then when it comes to covid.
But that doesn't mean that masking, social distancing, avoiding dense areas, sanitizing, and getting the vaccine aren't important.
