Sincerely simple question. Why do we need architects? They are worthless.
Anything they can do, engineers already know how to do and have even more practical knowledge. (Materials, physics, maths, etc.)
It is like they are leeches who only exist to sign papers because they are friends/family of politicians or oligarchs. But why would they exist in a sane society?
For example China has an engineering heavy market of professionals, but not that many architects. Meanwhile we have almost as many architects as engineers in the USA, most are women or "creative" men who don't even know how to do what little job they have. And they still get a stupidly high paying job for less effort than engineers.
Why the fuck do we still need architects taking government money while contributing nothing when engineers can do their work and better?
Why not just cut them. Sincerely asking.
