Forewarning that I'm about to say some potentially scary shit about the virus that may or may not be correct and that I'm not remotely a doctor, just a sophomore-ish CS major.
Its gonna be really annoying listening to poltard fucks talk about the precautions we took with the virus when/if covid turn out to be nothing to be afraid of (well, besides the SEVERAL MONTHS OF BRAIN FOG FROM MILLIONS OF PEOPLE ALL AT ONCE), isn't it?
We maintain a semblance of order not talking about the potentially alarming post-viral effects of covid-19 in the long-run, but now we could be sacrificing trust in science when/if these QAnon type retards start saying "See? I told you so" when the reality is they never knew what the fuck they were talking about.
But really, how can people know about the existence of AIDs and hepatitis and then turn around and say covid ain't shit? I don't get it. I feel like they just wanna think that because so many people got this fucking virus and we have no idea what's going to happen. But the thing is, there's not much we can do to stop this mentality from spreading. If we are honest, it cause excessive panic. If we don't talk about it, the lies spread.
