I've literally heard numwrous liberals say that intense policing in inner cities only leads to more crime, violence, and instability, and similarly, I've heard numerous liberals claim that demonizing islam and the war on terror only leads to more tension and radicalization. I actually agree with both of these claims, but I don't see why you wouldn't maintain a similar position concerning "poltards". I don't agree with the "poltards", but I think the trends your seeing aren't really suprising given the pc culture and the demonization of conservatives over the past few years, which by the way, has been primarily directed at uneducated, under-represented, working class and blue collar white Americans, rather than wealthy and powerful establishment republicans and Christian religious leaders. There was even a big poll a few months ago by gallop or pew or something, and the top two concerns of mainstream democrats at the moment are white nationalism and trump voters, i.e the people they consider "racist country hicks". There are less racists today than at any point in history. Mainstream liberals dont even care about corporations, or the military, or corruption anymore. They think the biggest problem in the world today is literally neonazis and impovershed rural white people who have no power or political representation.
