Reversing a Solar Thermal system in order to cool house during summer.

I am already working on a solar thermal heating system for my house in fall/winter/spring.
Now MY idea is that when I build this thing, I don't want it to be idle during the hot season (over 6 months where I live), so I thought about removing the glass panels during summer, cover it with some cloth, and let this thing cycle cool water into my water tank during the night, so I could use it to cool my house.
Is it retarded? Would it be an insignificant amount of cooling? I am talking about almost 60 square meters of panels.

I already have them. Even the silent ones are depressing to use because of the constant humming and the dry air they produce. Also solar thermal is much cheaper in the long run, at least for heating.
