Time is the fourth dimension right. So particles that essentially transcend the passing of time leave a shadow on this universe instead of us being able to observe its full form. like a 2d being seeing a 3d object slice by slice. Or how we cant measure the position of an electron but we can determine the geometry of the shell it orbits.
so yeah, from our perspective electrons exist at every point in their whole shell. Instead of just being a discrete particle, due to their tremendous energy and speed, they move fast enough to be everywhere in the orbital at once. ergo, their geometry is their "size". or in other words, their size is arbitrary to the arrangement and energy levels theyre in, its size can be anything.
