>>13205934being able to highlight over textbooks will be really useful. also that quizlet app the video shows in 4:21 looks really interesting. i guess i'm behind the times because i'm 28, but flash cards for chemistry units will be useful.
also at 5:38 you can see she's writing in a blown-up section and that's making the writing really neat which i'm excited to see is an option. tried writing on the s4 i think it was and it was hard to get the notes close together without overlapping so that's a really useful feature.
also pretty impressed with the translation feature at 6:10. i'm sure it will only be google translate accurate, but saves me having to pull up an external website.
also from what i've read the samsung has some shit called "dex" on it which allows you to have windowed app, which i think is what she's doing at 5:10. and although it's not shown in this video the samsung note taking app can be overlaid on top of videos and you can turn the opacity down, so you're writing on a seethrough notepad while you watch lectures/video.
initially i was worried about how gimmicky the tablet was, and if i really needed on, but i'm pretty convinced of its utility. i don't spend frivolously and i think it'll be a good investment for the next few years of my university.
