So am in my second year of university doing math and computer science. The way my uni works is this course you have to do theoretical math for like 2.5 years and then you can switch to doing actual computer stuff. I somehow managed to finish my first year with a grade average of 9.43/10 which was pretty good, especially because the uni is run by fucking morons who make everything so much harder that its absurd. The problem is i completely hate this. I don't really like computers that much and I find abstract math pretty boring. It's sucking the life out of me. So I'm stuck in limbo. Do I just find something else? Do I torture myself until I finish? Every option I can make looks like it's the wrong one. Maybe It's because of the pandemic. I feel the walls crumbling around me and its fucking painful. If anyone has any ideas, I would be happy to hear them. Thanks in advance if you've read this far.
