Longshot, but is anyone here a certified histotechnician? I've been studying off and on for a while. I would like to buckle down and really focus on it to get it over with, but my current workplace is structured in a way where I really only get to do routine H&E. Special staining techniques aren't even an option. So if any histotechnicians are around, how was your experience with the test? General advice? Do you think it's even possible without being able to have hands-on experience?
