What does /sci/ think of anti psychotics? Or psych pills in general Does anyone know of any new emerging treatments instead of these pills?

Do you guys agree they are over rx'd to people?

>abilify - i think it helped with my social anxiety at first. i think it has a mild anti depressant affect for me too. was on it for the past 6 years mostly, but i stopped 2 months ago. i realized, after being off it, my orgasms became 5-10x as strong, and the drug was dulling my orgasms. it also blocked my hypomania and made me feel less emotions i believe. i developed tardive dyskensia from this medicine, and have a tremor in my hand. i gained 66 lbs.

>zyprexa - gained 20 lbs in a month every time i tried it. killed my sex drive. sedating. helped get rid of meth paranoia when i was sobering up though.

>invega - constantly restless uncomfortable feeling that is worse than physical pain. akathesia. gained 15 lbs in a month or so. when ever i tried jerking off, nothing would cum out when i came and it was super unsatisfying. doctors forced me on a monthly injection to get out of the psych was. i stopped getting injections after i was released because i couldn't cum and had akathesia

>vraylar - seemed to give me motivation, but got tardive dyskensia within 1-2 days. Stopped it quickly

Invega, seems to be very unpopular with people. I can see why, it made me feel like shit.

Also I seem to be more submissive and passive to people on APs, and just obey or go with the flow. i hate that.
