I think psychology could use some improvement. It has issues for sure. Maybe there is a case to be made that they overuse tranqs. I just assumed ssris were some kind of neuroplasticity/brainwashing drug. I definately think they stunt intellectual ability overall from what I've seen.
Drugs, for the most part, seem to me like using a sledgehammer to prune a rosebush. Sure you beat that bush down but it won't be looking real healthy afterwards.
I think ethics is a major issue if they can't even get permission to do trials with mdma and psychedelics.
