Divine Proportions: Rational Trigonometry to Universal Geometry by Norman J. Wildberger
is a book that is a bit controversial apparently but it seems interesting to me.
I've only read it diagonally though.
Do other people know math books / mathematicians that are controversial?
Things like the abc conjecture proof by Shinichi Mochizuki also fall under this.
