There are more odd numbers than even numbers
Proof:
Let's count the natural numbers.
1,2,3,4,5...
You notice that when we've counted the first number, there is odd number in the list and no even numbers, so there are more odd numbers than even numbers.
When we've counted the first two numbers, the amount of odd numbers is equal to the amount of even numbers.
But wait!
We can keep doing this, and there will be more odd than even 50% of the time, and the same amount of both the other 50% of the time.
If there were the same amount of odd and even numbers, wouldn't we see the same amount of each 100% of the time? We don't, so there must be more odd numbers than even numbers.
