>>13182194>>13182235>>13182242Holy shit, this is why I subscribe to agnosticism. Everyone's so worked up about our creators. Even some sects of the 'alien designer' theories go on fear mongering campaigns on /x/ talking about how if we keep eating meat the 'Annunaki' or whatever the fuck are going to merc us all. Literally no different than how all the fire and brimstone Christians here on /sci/ try to scare us with doubt about popular theories and throw knee jerk emotions in the wind.
I got shit to do so I'm not going to argue any further, but why would some god, creators, designers or whatever the hell throw us on a planet with so little evidence of their existence get SO worked up over what we do with our lives?
>muh intution tells me my god / creator is most logical! We all were raised differently according to our geographic locations. If you were born in the middle east, there is an EXTREMELY high chance you'd be a Muslim, especially given your genetic need to believe in something. You aren't some special soul.
>You just want to sin! In which faith? According to Hare Krishnas, I'm going to be tortured by Yama Dutas for eating Beef which is a grave sin in Hinduism. Christianity on the flip side tells me veganism is a sin. I'm not going to be afraid of imaginary crimes I can't verify, unlike police officers, courts, justice systems I can see.
>The irreligious are typically stupid! Not entirely true. You know that midwit meme? I wouldn't surprised it was the opposite of what 4chan preaches. I think it's the midwits who are more likely to be religious. Dumbasses don't have the ability to assess risks, think of big picture ideas like religion or think past that sex night or a cup of coffee. Smartasses are too intelligent to be endeared by the emotional games that get played, are typically more educated in the sciences, etc.
Anyways, believe whatever you want. Just stop trying to pilfer science and the justice system with your faith. Have a good day.
