>>13180602I think encyclopedias in general are poorly written, if the intent is to teach. I might go to Wikipedia for a quick math reference, but I constantly find it to have absolutely stupid exposition, to the point that if I had not already gotten a degree in math, I would be completely lost, even on (what I find to be) relatively simple concepts. If I was to introduce a topic to friend or colleague, I would avoid directing them to the wiki.
