The question can be rephrased as when did a pair of entities become mutually aware that a one-way injective process between them yielded a net positive.
This would require essentially an injector entity (male) and a receptor entity (female) to undergo the process in such a way that their proximity rejection functions don't engage to the point of outright rejection and avoidance so they remained in proximity to witness the outcome of repeat cycles and were able to share positive feedback cycles from the collection of outcomes.
An example here would be whoever is reading this post is a receptor while I the poster would be an injector of information. How smooth the process is does depend on my ability to inject with sufficient smoothness and ease to bypass all of the receptors rejection or dismissal patterns.
