How this possible? What does that even mean? If 2 SDs of difference means you can't effectively communicate with the person, what about 20 standard deviations? What does this person even think of? I keep reading about Sidis and all these other megabrains and I can't believe it. And this guy apparently works at Home Depot despite having a graduate math degree? How on earth can he be happy in that? I don't understand. I am so hateful of my retard coworkers I can't stand being around them and I don't have anywhere near these kinds of IQs. Is this is the ultimate proof that iQ is a meme?

IQ testing has a problem with asymptotic results in the upper end of the spectrum because of the inability of the NPCs who do IQ testing to put together a test that accurately measures the intelligence of people smarter than them. Any result over 80 or so is going to be inaccurate and the error bars get bigger and bigger the higher up the scale you go.
Not that 400 wouldn't be a potentially possible result on a test, but it does seem odd that someone of legit 400 IQ would waste their time on an IQ test.
However its also safe to assume that I wouldn't understand a 400 IQ's reasoning as I've never tested over 300 myself.
IQ tests should really be graded on a pass/fail basis exclusively, that'd give more accurate results.

What achievement? He hasn't achieved anything, which is pretty telling. I'm supposed to believe an IQ of 400, more than double the likes of Einstein and Von Neumann, when the person has accomplished nothing? There is less distance between the thoughts of a 60 IQ person and a 200IQ person than a 60IQ person and a 110-160 IQ person. IQ is kind of circular in the sense that in order to be on either of the extreme ends of the spectrum you have to have a severe degree of neurological abnormality. This causes divergent thought, some of which happens to be useful in academia, some of which does not. In either case they actually both stunt key survival traits, particularly those involved with social function. Thats not how IQ testing works, anyone who is of higher IQ than the test creators will be able to see the necessarily flawed logic in the test and be able to push scores as high as they want.
Some test are set up with parameters making "unreasonably" high scores impossible, but the real IQ tests they give to little kids when they don't know what the test is about aren't parameterized.
On the unlimited tests, when a 7 year old nerd gets a hold of a series of fun logic puzzles that they keep on winning at, they often go for it and have a good time recording off the charts scores. 400 isn't an unreasonable number, thats how high he tested before he got hungry or had to go to the bathroom and his concentration broke.

Work that allows you to apply your intelligence in a meaningful way can be really rewarding in itself. Being paid to learn and apply knowledge that 99% of the population isn't equipped for makes you feel as if your gift means something.

Unfortunately, our society is not structured to allow this to happen much, and in fact, generally prevents it. The corporate hierarchy of midwits resent it and do everything in their power to stop it.

Similar experience, most enjoyable work was semi-skilled fabrication work. Since you don't have to think as hard. And you're mostly following plans other people have made.
That being said, pays better to do something a high capacity for reason and learning.
