You know how they say Perpetual Motion machines are Impossible. Well what about Satellites, aren't those by their very nature, Perpetual Motion machines?

Think about our moon's orbit. It moves away from us by about 1.5 inches every year because of earths water being pulled around by the moon.

"Perpetual motion" is only possible if there's no friction or disturbances (like stable orbits) or an input of energy (like the Sun's light powering almost everything in Earth's nature). A perpetual motion machine would have to not only keep moving but also produce energy that can be harnessed.
