hey mathfags, any calculator that can store around 20 or more values with the store function, but isn't a graphing calculator?

The HP 15C can store 20 values. There are various tricks that allow it to use all 65 registers as well.

I have a 991MS with a similar layout, I thought you could only use A-F M XY to store values. Is this different on the 991ES?

Also, what the fuck is stopping these groids from putting more variable stores on their calculator? Is this some money gatekeeping feature?
Found an HP-35S which has 24 value stores, but it costs 100 dollars.
why not pic rel? not enough memory?

Numbers take up very little space, whether it's in storage or memory right? A short string of numbers in a txt file is only 7-10 bytes. It can't be due to a lack of memory.
