I personnally tested many of the technical analysis methods on historical data. what does work is sentiment analysis which is more psychology then it is maths, or fundemental analysis, whereby you look at the crypto and compare it to marketcaps of direct competetors, share of marketcap overall, basically just compare and assess based on the fundementals of the project idea.
