I did watch a short video on the sort of treatments the doctors used. It seems like his chromosomes became spaghettified, so his cells couldn't be replaced once they were destroyed.

Is the damage just too much at that point? There's no way you'd be able to communicate new instructions to all of the different types of cells in the body, right?

when you have one or two files in a program that need to be repaired, just replace them with new ones

imo the options are

but for all intents and purposes human cloning is against the laws/ethics laws
you need a genuinely unethical scientist to get practical results in the short(er) term

At this point it feels like you are better off trying to get his brain into a robot body. Even though, his brain would have suffered radiation that would likely lead to acute degenerative diseases.

I heard his story and it just breaks my heart that there is nothing we could do but watch him rot and die. I know it's a lost cause to try to cure them when there's that much damage and that much lingering radiation, but even giving that person a comfortable month before they passed would help put my mind at ease. I just don't think it's possible.
