>>13168382The sense of self, or spirit/soul/etc., is a strictly relative thing meaning that no individual can have exactly the same as any other. Many can come close but at some point having separate bodies inserts obvious things.
Some are more able to run their self and their human vessel (how the world perceives their physical form) in parallel. We all have to play to a standard to aid in being understood by each other and so we can be translated as value to each other. If we are too much our own self then being too unique will bite you in the ass, if you are too stereotypical then being too common will bite you in the ass.
Best balance is to nurture and be self when truly alone in a space or room and when around others carry some running average of positive feedback loops.
