>>13166403>low iq rightie detected>initiate combat mode>targetting complete...Allow me to educate you, fool. While rising temperatures have been beneficial (economically) to many areas in the northern hemisphere, the same cannot be said for the southern hemisphere. Which is also where most of the water is.
Relocating 7.8 million people sounds expensive. This is only taking rising sea levels into account. What about preserving fertile farmland, or fresh water supplies.
The earth was basically a series of island archipelegos when temperatures were highest.
Co2 does not just come from fossil fuels. It is also trapped in roocks and ores and gets slowly baked out of the mantle/crust. Carbon accessible from the surface of the earth has been steadily increasing over time but thankfully has been locked up in the past by photosynthetic organisms. If we burn all the fossil fuels there will be more co2 in the air than since life began. Maybe even ever.
High iq right is starting to realise there is a cost associated with releasing more of a waste product into a natural system than that natural system is capable of managing. There are also some high iq right who realise that there are opportunities to profit from combatting rising temperatures.
There is no reason why we should not or could not take control of the carbon cycle on earth.
Carbon is a resource, it is already traded as such and it can be processed into value added products.
