Think about what things are cool to you and what subcomponents of those things are. that's your best bet for an entry point. option 2 is of course get a job at [tech company] in the US by using NAFTA (if you can), all the while constantly applying for H1B or sponsership by a company then get your path to citizenship in 5 years
