It's a units thing, like how 1 mile isn't = 1 inch. When you put angles into formulas like this it's always in radians.

Yeah but it's simplified so it's kinda removed innit? You use sines and cosines to get to it, that doesn't mean you should have to use them to solve it when you're there. I think I understand now, the equation is a meme
