From what I've heard ,getting into fields with practical applications like molecular biophysics or solid state(maybe even condensed matter) is the way to go.

Engineering, although you need to know more than just physics. Need to get your foot in the door too, work a few jobs and you can make a lot of money, be aware of shady shit though, sinister stuff goes on and it pays well.
