It seems to me that human "rights" are just relatively widely adopted laws which change from culture to culture or country to country. None will protect your right to life if you get caught by an axe murderer, or starve in the middle of the ocean and they can't help you.
As for equality, clearly some people are born blind, or stupid, some disproportionately strong. Usain Bolt can't run that fast just because he feels like it, so that genetic gap becomes bigger as people practice or sit around doing nothing. Both those concepts are just wishful thinking at best and Marxist nonsense at worst. Rights you can't enforce yourself against your peers don't exist, and not everyone is (or deserves to be) equal.
