Why is this guy so popular? People gobble what he says up like it's gold.
I watched through a podcast he was starring in (Change Your Brain: Neuroscientist Dr. Andrew Huberman | Rich Roll Podcast) and i still don't get why people see him as the messiah of changing your behaviors.
He offers no real steps to change. It's essentially the same crap that Jocko and Rogan says, but said by a neuroscientist, which is: "you gotta just realize that shit's hard bro and you gotta push through it. Once you know this you will change."
The fuck?
I'm not watching another one or two hour long podcast of this shit (he stars in a LOT of podcasts)
Am i missing something here?
Anyone with knowledge about this guy, neuroscience and the stuff he studies, or the field in general who can expand on why people are so into this. Because obviously i'm missing something here.
Does he actually have a point?
I just don't see how realizing the things he says, can actually lead to change without any real steps to take.
