I get that there's lots of failsafes and stuff, but I still wouldn't feel comfortable sitting on top of a gigantic lithium ion battery that wants to explode into an electrical fire. And that's before we even talk about terrorists bypassing the system locks
I've seen a non-electric car explode in real life and it wasn't nearly as dramatic as those videos of lithium ion explosions, despite occuring at a bigger scale
