Why do maths professors waste so much time going into the details of proofs? Proofs are for brainlets who don't immediately see why a theorem is true. I would prefer math lectures without proofs. We could learn so much more math in the same time.

That's really impressive. You immediately see for all theorems why they're true without having seen the proof first? You should do research, I'm sure you would revolutionize mathematics as we know it.
