I love teaching
it might be because im a brainlet and fully understanding a concept is an arduous process that i cant take for granted
but i love sharing what I've learned math and science concepts are like Christmas gifts and I feel like Santa

i genuinely never thought people could enjoy teaching. i always thought teachers were teachers just for the money, not wanting to work in the private sector, etc.
when i was a kid i was always very secretive with my knowledge and i would always want to keep things for myself, if i discovered some cool thing / way to do something, i would never tell my friends because i wanted to feel superior

i've been like that since then, i like learning stuff but not teaching it to other people. not because im lazy, but because i genuinely feel vulnerable when i do it. i feel like im losing my sense of superiority and that makes me feel anxious. but at the same time, if everybody was like me i would have never had a place to learn my "special knowledge" in the first place. so i guess, thank you (to you and others like you). this was my ted talk

i always loved teaching other students in my class or helping them out when they didn't really get something, and i love teaching people whatever i've learned
i couldn't handle being an actual teacher, though. seems hellish.
