Change my mind. They're a useless unit with no true relation to the unit circle and make teaching calculus and trigonometry more difficult.

huh? i've never seen any trig book that doesn't just mention degrees and be like "this is degrees, we normally use them to measure angles in our daily lives. in this book we'll use radians though lol" and just never mention degrees ever again in the entire thing except for maybe a small paragraph telling you how to convert degrees and radians just as extra info

This wasn't my experience. I did trigonometry at a community college in high school and we strictly used radians.
