it's not as if women are fundamentally illogical. They can do their taxes, figure out how to pump gas, make change... etc... all of which demonstrates competence in the same abilities a man would need to have to be a scientist.
If you're worried about female relationiship dynamics and irrationality polluting science, then remember that males are not free of that, at all.
Science should be a place devoid of emotion, where the author peculiarites do not matter.
