I don't think people going without a haircut for a few months is destroying their lives, people losing their jobs is certainly pretty serious though.
But hey if you wanna consider the third world, disruptions caused by lockdowns to supply chains of essential resources (food, water, medicine etc) have supposedly lead to a LOT of deaths.
This whole situation was never going to be a win-win.
