Why do the mRNA vaccines require a second dose and conventional vaccines dont? Why do some adenovirus vaccines also require a booster and others dont?
No handwaving please like "priming your immune system and then reinforcing blah blah". Use the proper scientific language. What happens at the cell level? I know that once the immune system is introduced to the antigen, the T-cells and B-cells proliferate and B-cells differentiate into plasma cells that will produce anti bodies. But why the second dose?
