retard here: is it feasible for photon travel to be technically instantaneous, with the appearance of "speed" to be a side effect of spacetime; space travel being fundamentally also time travel? ergo, any movement through a set amount of space inherently also requires movement through a set amount of time, so any instantaneous movement through space would still in effect have an inherent destination in time, giving the illusion of a time delay.
