Can someone with a medical background explain this to me? Prior to this I've been hearing that we can't return to normal until we pass the 70% vaccinated mark. I have also been told repeatedly that vaccinations are only to reduce hospitalizations and deaths. You can still transmit it with the vaccine.

And now here we are, just over 35% fully vaccinated, and suddenly you can do whatever you want maskless if you have the jab. I don't understand. Is this data driven at all? Was some new study completed?
