No surprise here.
Cheating is the only logical thing to do. We live in a world where you can look up almost anything in a second. College should train you for your future job, not make you memorize shit for your professors trivia exams.

I was in school a decade ago. My experience was in undergrad the kind of soft-cheating where you copy a friend's assignment, sneak cheat sheets into test, disseminate test questions or answers from 1st period to those in 4th or old exams etc. One fourth sounds about right in a large ball park. Didn't know people using the pay 4 play websites but it was STEM so.
In grad school it was much better except for the ESL foreign students, especially asians, a lot of them cheated and even got special grading treatment for their piss poor english.

No I didn't snitch, my philosophy is the job market will do the sorting. Only thing that sucks is when cheaters artificially raise the ceiling for things graded on a curve but I did fine.

Why would I respect an institution that doesn’t respect itself?
Universities are so pozzed nowadays that I have no moral qualms about cheating, it like asking me whether I’d be upset skirting work assigned to me at an investment bank, or dodging taxes.

You should do college as a way of learning more about what you love. Not as a way to make sure you'll have a job in the future.
In my honest opinion, lesbian interpretive dance majors are more intellectually honest than most of my fellow students learning compsci only because they wanna be the next sillicon valley shithead or something

Asian culture says that if you can get away with cheating, you deserve to. Asian countries supposedly have higher IQ scores than any other country, but most just cherry-pick the results.

I'm a software engineering student, but I in my first two years I had to pass exams on subjects like Physics, Philosophy, Sociology, and Probability Theory. I only cheat when I don't care about the subject in question or not sure in my knowledge.
Also, here is some cheating advice: shave your thighs and write formulas or whatever you need on them with a pen so you can look at them later during a bathroom break. That's how I passed some of my finals in school.

Kek I literally can’t imagine how many people are cheating now. Many of my exams are on the computer without any proctoring and teachers ask you not to use your notes or textbook. Personally I think it’s shitty for a teacher to put students in a position to cheat

here, exams have been changed to open book exams.
The only thing that is not allowed is working together and plagiarism (those are not impossible to detect, though, and I like to think most people are honest about it).

Those lesbian interpretative dance majors may be more intellectually honest than the CS students who oversaturate the market for CS and who should have been business frat bros instead; however, they are still more evil because they know that they don't have the skills to pay off their student loans and they don't care, and so they plan to offload the debt to the taxpayer or to the cosigners. At least CS students don't go in with the particular delusion that money doesn't matter and that they don't have to work for a living to pay back what they owe.

My lecturers literally ripped almost every question on their finals papers from quiz sites with word for word answer options , oh and ALL of my exams this year were multiple choice online tests with negative marking. I just googled the questions and threw in some fake mistakes

I cheated big time on my signals final.
it was over zoom
we weren't allowed any references but i printed out the midterm solutions and laid them out on my desk
then i looked for similar problems on the final and just followed the solutions like an algorithm
ended up getting a 58 which was barely enough to squeak the class with a D
I don't understand a single thing from that whole class but I'm moving on
