I'd think if the spike protein of the virus changed significantly enough then the current vaccine wouldn't be effective anymore, but so far as I've heard the mutations are still covered by the current vaccine.
I'd also think that if people would stop being dumb about this and got the current vaccine and quashed the pandemic then it wouldn't have much of an opportunity to mutate more.

Yep. And here's the thing: memory B-cells when activated can also return to the lymphatic geminal centers and undergo class-switching again, including somatic hypermutation. So even if the virus mutates a little so the antibodies you have aren't quite as neutralizing, your B-cells will still retrain and tweak themselves to make better antibodies. All the while, the slightly-less-effective antibodies are still slowing the virus down.

Well I do not like unnecessary death but it improves the economy for the people whom actually working, frees up land and resources.

Vaccination of the global population could force the virus to become deadlier. The mRNA gets placed in the cell to produce synthetic antibodies whom are highly specialized. They take up resource and for your body's own generic antibodies to not produce to the same degree. The virus mutates and now you have even lower defenses from it making it more deadly.

Your antibodies target the spike protein. The spike protein targets the ACE2 receptor. The spike protein cannot change too much or else it won’t fit in ACE2 receptors. That constraint means the number of necessary vaccine DLC is finite.

the spike proteins are produced for only as long as the mRNA stays in your cell. Once it is gone the spikes are no longer made. The spikes themselves will last a bit longer, a couple of weeks maybe.

Once the mRNA gets deleted however, the spike proteins cannot be made anymore.

Aren’t these people fucked no matter what we do? Like, cool, everyone gets the vaccine and these people are mostly safe from covid. Then, six months later, they get the flu or some weird infection and die.
What’s the best solution? Accepting that some will die earlier then expected, or using a new, not totally tested vaccine on the entire population, kids included, vile little spreaders.

We have billions of naive T and B cells that have not been exposed to any antigen yet. But all of them are specialized enough to recognize one single antigen (protein pattern) and there are billions of them. It is called repertoire. Think of them as "prototypes". Once our body is exposed to any antigen, no matter how rare, one of them will bump into it and yell "me, me, i know this guy), and our immune system will then activate and clone this little buddy into billions of cells of the same specificity. They will differentiate into memory cells or plasma cells and start producing antibodies specific to this new virus.

Two injections are good for at least 6 months and counting. Moderna and Pfizer have already tried to push for a booster at 6 months and then yearly injections, but other experts have spoken up and said it's stupid to make assumptions before we actually have the data.

If COVID-19 cannot be eliminated we will get mutants that can be more deadly. Since we have asymptomatic infections there is no pressure towards a less deadly strain. And that is a problem.
India is out of control and we should assume a mutant will appear that can escape the vaccine.
