The other issue, is that the blades last roughly 30 years, so we are only having to deal with blades until 1991, and that's a tiny amount of compared to the current size of the wind industry, so the investments into recycling just haven't been yet.
Also while it's a waste to just bury them, it's extremely minor in environmentally terms, compared to any other method of producing energy.
