plants eat CO2 & sunlight, they make sugar using CO2 & photons as the ingredients, thats how they live. plants will continue to increase in yield as long as CO2 increases in the atmosphere up to about 2000ppm. all those fertilizers and other snake oil don't contribute all that much, they are called micronutrients for a reason, emphasis on the micro.
when you harvest your crops, most of the weight you harvest will be water, of the dry weight, over 95% is composed of CO2 & photos, atmospheric nitrogen and hydrogen that originated from water make up the lions share of the remaining 5% of the dry weight.
