I was recently thinking about how even if I put the billions together to become the next Elon Musk and blasted off at the speed of light tomorrow, I would likely not live long enough to see another star system. There are not many solutions. Maybe wormholes...? That got me thinking about cryonics. The wikipedia article lists a number of people who disagree with the ethics of freezing the dead in the hope they'll come back, since the tech to revive isn't there yet. However, as these wood frogs prove, it's very possible to freeze a living organisms completely, then revive totally. We just need to figure out how it works in humans.
