Hey /Sci/ I need some help figuring out what direction to take with coding/programming

>Currently 20
>Did my A.A in High School, decided to go down the path of Political Science to become Lawyer.
>Waste 2 years and realize job market for Law is over saturated.
>Decide I want to go into coding, but too late to change undergraduate major
>School forces me to finish what I started

Been studying Python by myself on the meantime, and would like to better understand what languages, certifications, skills (ex:mathematical) and entry level jobs are vital for different coding career paths. Any sources or ideas that could benefit me anons?

I'd really appreciate any help I can get. Thank you all in advance

P.S: Planning on doing C.S. degree, but I have a gut feeling that won't be enough
