>>13107042As gay as it sounds, this show saved my life. When I was a junior in high school I had my life planned out: I was going to go to college for accounting, become a CPA, and work for some company crunching numbers all day. I was in an accounting class and I didn't necessarily enjoy it but I was really good at it, best in the class, the teacher loved me etc. When this show came out on Netflix, I decided to watch it and realized how much I liked science and physics. When I was signing up for classes my senior year, I had to choose between advanced accounting or physics due to a scheduling conflict, and much to my accounting teacher's dismay, went with physics. After that I changed my plan, I went to college and double majored in physics and EE and now I'm an engineer. I fully believe that if I had stuck with accounting I would have killed myself by now.
