should we use base 12 for every day mathematics?
its much easier to count and suddenly oddities like
1/3 =0.3333 go away and turn into 0.4

idk probably.
I have not checked how these sums are affected.
However advenced maths is unaffected by a change in base.
this all could have very easily been base 10 or base 6 or base 2.
base 12 is just convenient in daily life it seems.

well in base 12 it becomes 1/X which is 0,12497...
But that doesn't really affect anything.
Assuming everything in every day life changed to adopt base 12 tommorow your old 1 meter ruler would still work and the new 1 "meter" would be 1.2x times bigger than the old one.
