Should highschoolers learn calculus before doing any science?
When I did physics In highschool I feel like a lot of stuff was just handwaved and never really proved or explained properly. Not to mention that the class didn't go deep at all. I get the feeling that classical mechanics and electromagnetism could have been so much more enriching if I knew calculus before.
Same goes for other sciences. I feel like if I knew basic quantum physics and electromagnetism before doing chemestry things would have made more sense. Ditto for knowing chemestry before biology.
