I seem to remember a science story from 2013, maybe 2014, somewhere around there, about an MIT researcher that created an invisibility cloak, I believe it was a 6x6 inch square he was seen photographed with.
I have been looking for it online but I can no longer find it anywhere on the Internet. I know I am not imagining it. I always suspected the guy was spirited away to area 51, especially given that they have that invisible dirigible out there now, the hangar they finished construction on in September of 2020... Just the perfect size for two blimps that Lockheed made.

My question is what happened to the engineer that made the cloak and why was this story posted publicly and then removed? Do I just suck at looking things up?
