I was recently arguing with racists on pol about racial gap is mostly environmental and I was using Flynn effect as an argument. However they respond me that Flynn effect is not correlated with g-factor, whereas racial gap does. Please help me to understand, if it's a valid counter-argument. As far as I understood, g-factor is hypothetical characteristic that IQ tests are trying to measure. And basically we measure different characteristics, applying PCA and g-factor is PC1. If I understand it correctly, how can IQ NOT correlate with g-factor? And even if it's not correlating with g-factor, how does it destroying my argument?
I'm not guru in statistics, genetics and psychology, and also not a native speaker, so please correct me if I'm wrong somewhere.
