flash cards/note cards won't really help you as EE

most things you are graded on in exams are computational. there's very little rote memorization. the only thing you might be asked to memorize are formulas but in classes where many formulas are used most professors will give you a formula sheet.

generally speaking you are memorizing problem solving strategies and algorithms for your harder classes

maybe sometimes you're asking theoretical questions but making flash cards for those is kind of a waste of time and energy because you're better off just trying to understanding the underlying concepts and principles of the material rather than cram every powerpoint slide into your brain

basically flash cards are only useful for medfags and people trying to learn languages

Well actually, it could help you memorize things such as legislation, for example:

This is just simply not applicable to EEs. I've taken dense emag classes and the professors lets you use your notes, formula sheets, the textbook, even the solutions for mock exams he gives you. Your anki shit doesn't help you because you already have everything at your fingertips. Anki is for rote memorization. Period. That's it. How is Anki going to help you when your antenna engineering professor asks you to design an antenna with certain parameters? Or your circuits professor asks you to design a circuit that does a given function? Or if you're asked what's wrong with a circuit he provides? What about when your microprocessor architecture class gives you a 20 hour coding assignment?

EE is the field where anki will help you the least. Because 90% of the shit that makes up your grade has nothing to do with memorization. It has to do with comprehension of the material.

Lmao pre-meds ALWAYS downplay how hard they try, in this case studying. Guaranteed she was studying every moment she had available. Besides, flashcards are only good for definitions and formulae, it is a supplement to doing problems and learning concepts.

You don't. You see, this thing is good for storing isolated facts in your brain, however that is of no use in the real world.
What you want to build is a network of information. The nodes are pieces of information while the edges are the relationship between two of those.
You can't build that with flashcards.

Based response, SRS is only useful for fields where you have a bunch of shit to memorize and vomit out like med or language learning. Gaming Anki will probably not help you out any better than reading, rereading, rerereading the concepts and doing practice problems.
